The data controller is Meko Transit LLC, a customs broker registered in Georgia, Tbilisi.

From the contact form and the application form: your name or company name, phone number, email address, tax identification or personal ID number, and the message you write.
From an application, additionally: service type, cargo description and value, vehicle or container number, route, and the documents you upload for the customs procedure.
Technical data: IP address, browser type and request time, kept in server logs for security and fault diagnosis.
To perform a contract — to answer your enquiry, quote a price and prepare the customs declaration.
To meet a legal obligation — customs and tax law requires us to submit and retain declaration data.
On the basis of your consent — the box you tick before submitting a form. You can withdraw consent at any time with a single email.
The Revenue Service of Georgia, when the declaration is filed. This is a legal obligation and the procedure cannot be completed without it.
Customs authorities in the country of destination, through NCTS, across the 39 contracting parties to the Common Transit Convention. Data leaves Georgia only within that procedure.
The carrier or freight forwarder, limited to what moving the cargo requires.
Our technical suppliers — hosting and email delivery. They act on our instructions and may not use the data for anything else.
We do not sell data and we do not pass it to anyone for advertising.
Documentation for a completed customs procedure is kept for the period customs and tax law requires.
Contact-form messages: no longer than two years, unless they led to a contract.
Server logs: a short period, as technically needed.
The site uses only strictly necessary cookies: a session identifier, a form security token and your chosen language.
There are no analytics, advertising or social-network cookies, and no third-party trackers.
Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Uploaded documents are held on private storage and are reachable only by the staff member handling your application.
Public status lookup by application number shows the status and its dates only — never a document and never a contact detail.
You may ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, correction of anything inaccurate, erasure, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of your consent.
Some data we are not allowed to delete: documentation for a declaration already filed must be retained for a statutory period. Where that applies we will say so and explain why.
Send requests to info@mekotransit.com. You will get an answer within the period the law allows.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.
